Project Manager/Landscape Architect - Full Time Position with Benefits

OVERVIEW: Daigh Rick Landscape Architects, LLC (DRLA) is looking for a motivated Landscape Architect with 3-5 years experience. DRLA is a small firm that specializes in custom, high-end residential and small mixed use/commercial projects at the highest level throughout Tennessee and surrounding states.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors of Landscape Architecture from an accredited university.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage projects from conceptual design through construction administration

• Accept responsibility for the production, organization, coordination and precision of all documents (including, but not limited to construction documents, grading plans, planting plans, etc.)

• Communicate with and coordinate the efforts of project team members, clients, consultants, contractors and agency officials

• Manage project schedule and workflow

• Work with the project team to produce presentation materials

• Explore and specify materials, products and practices

• Attend job-site meetings, distribute supplemental instructions, review submittals and shop drawings during the construction administration phase

SKILLS:

• Excellent graphic and verbal communication skills

• Exhibit a proficiency in the use of AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop and Sketch-Up

• Capacity to think conceptually and develop designs independently

• Demonstrate sound decision-making, time management and organization

• Experience with technical detailing, coordination and construction administration

• Ability to manage all aspects of the workload with a positive attitude

• Involvement in both high end residential and boutique commercial work is preferred
