Our Team
Anne Daigh is the visionary founder of Daigh Rick, bringing a deeply personal approach to her work as a landscape architect. A Georgia native who grew up on a farm, Anne’s passion for beauty and design began early—she planted her first garden at age eight and drew house plans in elementary school. After earning her degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia in 2002, Anne moved to Nashville, where she spent nearly a decade with Page Duke Landscape Architects before launching her own firm in 2010. In 2017, she partnered with Wade Rick to form Daigh Rick Landscape Architects.
Anne’s designs are characterized by the artful use of plants to enhance architecture, often
introducing unexpected elements to elevate residential landscapes. Her philosophy balances structure and whimsy, creating tension between order and chaos to achieve harmonious, timeless spaces. She finds the most rewarding part of her work to be the personal connections with clients and knowing her landscapes enrich their lives for years to come.
Living in a historic home in Nashville’s 12 South neighborhood, Anne continues to nurture her love for gardening, growing tulips, antique roses, and dahlias. One day, she hopes to fulfill her dream of running a cut flower farm specializing in these blooms, a testament to her lifelong passion for cultivating beauty.
Wade Rick brings over two decades of expertise and passion to his role as principal at Daigh Rick. As a Nashville native, his love for landscape architecture was sparked early, growing up in a creative household with a father who was an architect. Summers spent working construction while finding inspiration from his grandmother’s garden further cemented his connection to the land. With a degree in landscape architecture from Mississippi State University, Wade’s career reflects a balance of classical design principles and innovative approaches.
Prior to Daigh Rick Landscape Architects, Wade gained invaluable experience at Page Duke Landscape Architects, where he honed his appreciation for the traditional design elements and refined his craft. He also worked on large-scale land planning projects with Southern Land Company, developing a broad understanding of landscapes at various scales. Wade’s work emphasizes design, horticulture, and a thoughtful integration of natural and cultural history, producing spaces that are both timeless and impactful.
Wade’s portfolio spans residences and communities across Tennessee and the Southeast, showcasing his ability to collaborate with clients and professionals to bring their visions to life with artistry and precision.
